Really thought-provoking few days for Toa Developments attending the Affordable Housing Development & Investment Summit in Tamaki Makaurau. From committed individuals doing small-scale mahi in remote locations, to large, established operators trying to move the dial in big cities - all doing their bit in this extremely challenging sector.

Hopefully the new government is able to offer more direct support at community level to enable smoother and more viable pathways to satisfy increasing demand at all levels - particularly reducing the onus on complex partnership structures that have to be formed to fund and deliver even the most modest homes for New Zealanders.
